Hi,

I'm thinking about creating an organization to hold scientific and mathematical libraries projects in PHP, and sharing the ownership of this organization with more people to improve the reliability of projects like this one.

I have three other projects which I would transfer to this hypothetical organization:

@codisart , I'm mentioning you because maybe you're interested. I hope you don't get this mention as SPAM ^_^U .

By the way, I think that a good name for the organization could be SciPHPy .

Hello @castarco,

Thank you to think about me.

I think it could be a good idea but what about join already etablished organizations like Hoa or the PHP league ?

It could give us some guide lines and some support.

Hi @codisart , I didn't consider joining these organizations because I think that the focus should be on implementing scientific/mathematical software, not "architectural oriented" libraries, nor general utilities.

There's also another reason: these groups haven't shown any interest on scientific/mathematical software, and the current state of projects like this one could be an impediment to be accepted (because architectural design problems). I also don't want to generate maintenance work to people who is not interested on this type of libraries.

In any case, I think that we can learn a lot from Hoa, the PHP League and other organizations.
