To get the tooltip you have to hover over the actual picture inside the icon. Would be more user friendly to have the tooltip appear when mouse is anywhere in the rectangle.
E.g. I was originally going to request tooltips for these icons because I pointed the mouse in the green/grey space on these icons multiple times waiting for a tooltip before concluding there must not be any.
