Remember login #1220

Can we introduce a remember login function on the zen platform please.

I often check the Dojo meetings or just to change things, but login every single time really slows down my use of the site. I use my own devices, and there is no reason the session length can't be 14 or 30 days or so (renew when visiting).

Thanks for considering and making the UX better.

Hi @relighted , Could you tell us which kind of browser you're using? A session is supposed to be kept for 2 days (https://github.com/CoderDojo/cp-zen-platform/blob/master/web/lib/plugins/auth.js#L50) Maybe we could increase it to 30 as you ask, on demand (a tick on login) ? cc @conoramurphy

I Generally Use Firefox, or Chrome. The 2 days is too short; between dojo activity there is easy 4 to 5 days before I log in again to see participant numbers, etc.
