Need the ability to edit recurring events that have already started #1224

Our dojo loves the ability to make recurring events, but we really need the ability to update portions of the event like the address or ending date, without having to have a CoderDojo developer intervene.

We currently run a 4-5 month long session, and we've had the address change, and now we need to change the end date, but the UI won't let us.

Sorry @iandouglas , I didn't see the notification. The reason behind is that addresses are part of the event, and people booked for a specific "version"/"information" of the event. Any changes to the address or the tickets cannot be easily reflected back to the user. cc @conoramurphy I totally understand the problem, and considering we're currently redesigning the events, we may be able to find a solution

Hey @iandouglas as @Wardormeur said we're looking to currently clean up and simplify events. Is there any chance I could hop on a call to talk about how your dojo uses recurring events sometime? We're looking for a lot of uses cases to see how we can make them broadly easier to use.

@conoramurphy sure, I'm game for that. Add .com to my github username and you can find my contact information (email, etc) on my web site and we can set up a call.
