The basic workflow for someone to register for an event is three emails, which I think is too many. You can see them here newest to oldest:
Starting at the bottom and working up:
I have signed up to be notified when registration for an event opens. On that day I get the registration has opened email.
I follow the link in the first email and am taken to the lesson where I can set the number of students and enter my email again to register.
I get the confirmation email which includes the location address.
Rethinking This Workflow
First I think that following the link in the "registration is open" email should auto fill your email address on the register form.
Next I think I'm going to completely drop the last email. When you register you are taken to a nice page with a map and an address and the message that your registration has been confirmed.
