For anyone that has the same issue it's caused by the cleaner detecting and removing msssoft.m3d in .\miles - the software middleware for the "Miles 2D positional Audio" that can be selected in the audio settings of medieval 2. This is the default option for me when I install Medieval 2 so if I run SteamCleaner before changing the audio to something else in the dropdown I get a sound error and eventually the program will encounter a fatal error and close.
I've raised a pull request for what I think solves it, in the meantime anyone who has the issue can:
When it deletes the files, it makes MW2 run horrible. If i don't run SteamCleaner & the files stay, its solid fps. If i run it & delete the files, there's this horrible fps with massive stutter & freezing. I wish there was a way to pick if you wanted to delete files from that game or not.
