I know windows and a lil programming so i wont be much in that capacity but a simpler version (ad maybe easier to code) could be change the current 2 button for "turn on" and "turn off" into a single on/off button and then add a auto shutdown enabled/disabled button next to the on/off? Just an idea that crossed my mind. thanks again for you work!
I like that idea. Will look at doing that. Just finishing the smart strip support and will then get to doing this
Awesome! Smart strip? hmm something else i may be interested in.

Just wanted to +1 for this feature. For me, it's because my printer suffers hot end creep when the fan's not actively cooling, and has jammed the filament a couple of times. I always make sure my hot end is below 60degC or so before cutting power to the printer. The plugin by no means needs to incorporate temps, but just having a setting saying "Wait [X] seconds before turning off the TP link plug" would be sufficient.
Just finished a large update to bring support for smartStrips. Will have a look at this for the next feature i work on.
Awesome. Noticed you finished the smartstrip update as I installed it a few days ago :)

2 issues i wanted to pass on...First it seems auto shutdown is not working now. I can turn the machine on and off with the button so it seems communication with the wifi plug is fine.
I noticed this after a print i cancelled which is my second though and this is just that since i am new to printing and all but if you have a very short print, cancel one or have timelapse off could the suto shutdown feature introduce heat ceep since it may turn off the fans very soon after the print? i leave "wait for time lapse" so most times this isn't an issue but i did turn it off testing for a comm. timeout i have occasionally and some may not use a camera.
Didn't really know if heat creep was that big of a problem just something i learned about in a video i watched trying to learn more. Thanks again for the great work

+1 for this
as mentioned by others, I'm interested in having a delay before shutting down, in case I want to do multiple prints at a time, or perhaps leave the nozzle to cool down to a specific temperature via the printer's fans
Love the plugin...was already using this plug to set a timer so it would shut down while i slept but this allows me to do it from my browser too.
Only issue i have is that i want to leave auto shutdown enabled but for times when i am running several short hour or 2 prints i don't want to have to turn it back on after each and i will undoubtedly forget to turn auto shutdown back on.
So maybe after a print finishes you, instead of having an on/off button, have a button with a countdown timer that gives you a chance to cancel shutdown so you can jump right into your next print. Of course the timer would be configurable in settings and if clicked it would simply continue to run and the normal on/off button would be back like normal. Seen you have been very actively updating so figured i would see what you thought.
