A good idea for a coding challenge is to design a neural network in java that is given pictures of cans / bottles / glass / etc. and determines what material the trash is made of, aluminum/steel/glass/plastic. Train a neural network to be able to figure out what the material is with a camera or previously uploaded pictures.
