example for console #124

I am sorry for my realy n00b request. Is it possible to get a purly console example for the mnist example. In fact I want to run something like "node testmnist.js" I know this is stupit but I do not understrand how all the libs have to get loaded and called from a centered prog in order to test the inputs.
