Project Cleanup

Worked on some general project cleanup in anticipation of creating issues specifically for hacktoberfest as well as preparing for a 0.3 release.

• Updated the readme to point to the main branch, our CircleCI badge was still pointing to master instead of main.
• Adding contributing guidelines outlining how to get involved along with pull request best practices.
• Created a code of conduct that outlines our community standards and expectations.
