In this version the headstage isn't covered, it's just attached to the implant with the handle. You can cover it with epoxy to protect it. I haven't heard of anyone making one! The design would largely depend on your needs, so it's a bit hard to help -- but there are other headstage holders on the GitHub, maybe you could get some inspiration from those?
The NP2-Alpha isn't the commercial version, so you should indeed look at NP2_SingleProbeDockingWithHeadstage_FullyParameterised.ipt. I've corrected the README which had the wrong title. Thanks!

Hi there — thank you for these great designs and a nice protocol. I'm wondering if there is a headstage cover that goes along with the NP2_SingleProbeMiniatureDockingWithHeadstageHolder? In the photos it appears not, I'm wondering if anyone has perhaps made one or has recommendations for how to go about designing one. My goal is to implant a single Npx 2.0 probe with the smallest footprint possible + protect the headstage.
(Also, in the README, it seems like this piece is labeled as "NP2-Alpha_SingleProbeDockingWithHeadstage_FullyParameterised", so I was a bit confused when trying to sort out which piece was which, but AFAICT this piece will work with the commercial 2.0 headstages).
