Use your imagination. Only constraint: Something that would be appealing, gender-neutral (not super technical/masculine), and professional but creative/ good design aesthetic.

@rafaelderolez please feel free to jump right in and edit / deploy and the whole nine yards! We've been keen to get a color upgrade for a while :)

@derekrazo Do you just need a color upgrade? Because I could enhance the layout quite a bit, if you want ;)

@rafaelderolez A color update is only one part. The whole layout could be enhanced. Go for it! We can chat about approaches if you like, too.

We're aiming to be approachable to both engineers / hackers and professional researchers and neuroscientists, since part of our goal is to bridge the gap between the two.

http://intelligence.org/ is a good example of another local, nonprofit research institute with a snazzy website.

Also, the "online" branch is the most recent version and the one that gets pushed to our web host. :)
