Hello

first of all i dont want to create the next battlefield for Wasabi vs Samourai. but im an none expert and so i want to to understand some infos that im able to rate on my own.

and im searching for people which neither has stakes in wasabi nor in samurai

So i do some research and i found these claims from Samourai over Wasabi Wallet.

https://oxtresearch.com/the-kucoin-hack/ ( esp. the claims over wasabi) https://www.oxtresearch.com/an-analysis-and-disclosure-regarding-the-deterministic-nature-of-the-wasabi-wallet-coinjoin-algorithm/ https://oxtresearch.com/the-north-korean-connection/ ( esp. the claims over wasabi)

So, which claims are true ?

best regards

It seems these articles are about Wasabi 1.0. The next generation Wasabi 2.0 has numerous improvements that make old attack vectors obsolete.

ok but was this all so critical as the people from samourai claims was it so easy easy with the 1.0 version to retrace the funds ?
Moreover what about the last one which samourai claims Related with the ocean issue that wasabi has never implement a properly zero link protocol ? Screenshot_20231213-064051 Best regards

If Wasabi 1.0 Was used correctly (that is do sufficient rounds of coinjoin and do not consolidate many coins after) it provides excellent privacy guarantees, some users unfortunately shoot themselves in the foot with manual intervention.

Zerolink is a chaumian blinded coinjoin coordination, which was of course implemented by Wasabi 1.0. They just like to spread FUD and noise to distract people.

May u could explain the ocean problem a little bit more in an neutral way and why wasabi wallet isnt affected on it this is the point on which the devs from samourai wallet are refer to. best regards

Because Wasabi prioritizes blockspace efficiency, and there is no unnecessary OP_RETURN in the transactions.
