Still Getting "Could Not Refresh" (And Some Other Issues) #23

Hey! I've been keeping up with your twitter and I noticed that you said you fixed the issue with "Could not refresh" and stories not updating. Excited, I downloaded the new update from iosninja right away. I logged in, and I still get the "Could not refresh" and stories still refuse to load. My workaround so far has been to clear story cache, and within a few hours my stories all update.

I also have another minor issue- I am completely unable to edit names, remove friends, or block anybody. I've tried on multiple friends to no avail. Also, I never get any push notifications.

Is this just me?

@CoolZakCZ I also have the 'Could not refresh. Please try again' error message each time I open the app. My stories feed is empty. All other elements of the app appear to function normally.

Clearing the Snapchat cache doesn't solve the problem for me.

I've sideloaded Snapchat v.10.20.1, using the most recent Phantom files, onto my (non-jailbroken) iPhone 7 running iOS 11.0.3.

Just sideloaded v2.6 of Phantom, and the issue persists, unfortunately.

@CoolZakCZ I'm going to install Phantom using Extensify and see if that changes anything.

@tokyotrumpet So you're having the "Could not refresh" issue like I am, but notifications and removing/blocking/editing people work fine? How did you sideload yours? Did you get the ipa from iosninja or some other source? I just want to figure out how to get notifications working for me again.

On a side note, have you tried Extensify? Did it fix the issue?

tokyotrumpet commented 7 years ago

@CoolZakCZ Notifications work fine. I'm unsure if blocking/removing/editing friends is functional for me because it's a feature I've not tested yet.

I sideloaded using the instructions given in the Github README.md. The IPA I used came from a well known repository.

Extensify did not resolve the issue.

What's this "well known repository" you used?

@tokyotrumpet What? Does notifications work? How?

cdestefano commented 7 years ago

@tokyotrumpet I'm also curious how you were able to get notifications on ios 11? As far as I was aware, the only possible way is on ios 9 or below.
