This is the program that provides $2k/year in AWS credits:

  • There is a $185 admin fee. But that will pay for itself.

There's actually a program called BOOST that is part of Tech Soup, which reduces the admin fee cost to $80. The BOOST program itself costs $79/year (Ref).

• Signing up for BOOST will provide a free $25 voucher that can be used for any future service sign-up.
• BOOST subscription can be renewed for the same cost.

If we can go through BOOST, it will be cheaper ($134 vs $185).
