During operations the Red shutter failed to open fully. It appeared to be stuck at about 80% open. ACP indicated that it was fully open. This is normally an indication that the upper shutter has become detached from the lower shutter and needs to be fixed on-site. Because there were a series of observations being made, the lower shutter was closed to give an unobstructed view for the camera. This left the shutter in a 'moonroof' configuration that needed to be fixed the following day.
