I think you can try to setup your experiment as you suggested and analyse the results. I also recommend to look for similar studies and compare with the results obtained. It is always good to have other studies that can support the results achieved.

In any case, if you don't find the expected results, with a high precision, you can explain in your report what are the points you can try to change to improve your model.
