Problem with all services (Fedora 28, version 3.3.5 from repo, installed accordingly to instructions on wiki)

Description:

Hello! If I start MellowPlayer and try to play anything (Deezer, Hype Machine etc.) MellowPlayer goes to white screen and does not start song/show any info. Appimage version works with the same config.

Steps To Reproduce:

Open Mellow Player.
Choose any service (Deezer in my case).
Press Play.
Empty page is shown.

Affected streaming services (if any): all I tried (Hype Machine, Mixcloud, Deezer)
Operating System: (if using GNU/Linux: specify distribution, desktop environment and whether you used the AppImage or a native package) Fedora 28, KDE/Plasma 5.12.5, KDE Frameworks 5.44, Qt 5.10.1; native package installed based on this: http://mellowplayer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/users/install.html#gnu-linux (I had to download Flash other way though; with presented it did not work either)

It looks like the qtwebengine process crashed.

Since you installed flash another way I'd suspect it is the cause of the issue. Have you tried to remove flash? Deezer should work with HTML5 audio codecs instead of flash if you installed qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld. BTW qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld might also be a possible cause, maybe try reverting to the normal qt5-qtwebengine package.

Hello Colin, Removing flash did not help, after that with -freeworld I still got empty screen. Looks like reverting to normal qt5-qtwebengine did the trick though, thank you very much!

Great but you won't have support for proprietary codecs anymore, services such as mixcloud and soundcloud won't work anymore.

I'd suggest your report the issue to the maintainer of the qt5-webengine-freeworld package.
