Post 2.8.1 theme is too bluish #291

I really like old version greyish style, like in 2.8.1. New one, post 2.8.1 looks too blue for me. Also, I prefer older style checkboxes (solid boxes) than new one (check marks). Is there a way to switch to old style with new version or are there plans to switch to old style? Thank you for this great theme and your time.

I guess that is just a personal preference. After some time I get used to it. Closing the issue.
