Traditional Chinese writing adding ghost letters #10043

Describe the Bug

On iOS (18.0RC) on an iPhone 12 mini, using traditional Chinese to write text adds ghost letters at the start of each writing (+ double space doesn't do punctuation)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to anywhere in write
  2. Click on a blank space
  3. Write some text and press enter
  4. See error

Expected Behavior

You should be able to write in Chinese normally without having to constantly delete characters.

Actual Behavior

A clear and concise description of what actually happens.

Sorry, very basic question: Why not just use the iOS keyboard?

When watching the video, I saw that when starting to type, the first letter you type is written twice, for example weishenme>為什麼 becomes wweishenme > w為什麼

that's the worst bug but overall copy paste and the whole typing experience is really really different from the standard iOS experience, it's just so hard to even do a copy paste or select some text in the app.
