Calc formula bar next to the sidebar #3320

The Formula Bar in on top of the sidebar see: 2021-09-30 09_22_54-spreadsheet ods - Files - Nextcloud

In LibreOffice the Formula Bar is left next to the sidebar 2021-09-30 09_33_11-Untitled 1 - LibreOfficeDev Calc

As the Formula Bar stratch next to the sidebar, I would recommand to use the LibreOffice layout, so that the sidebar is next to the formula bar. at least we save some vertical space.

Formulabar is a part of toolbar-wrapper what makes it hard to put sidebar next to it... It requires complete rebuild of the structure and be sure it works in both classic and notebookbar mode. It is a bit risky I think. so 1) maybe we can just make formula bar taking 100% width for now (no white space above sidebar) 2) left it as it is until we will have window for more risky changes :)

I thought it was a bit difficult. I would suggest to let this issue open and fix it when the formularbar will be available in nativ js.
