2 years ago In cool we use export directly to pdf. There are two options to export to pdf in LibreOffice
- export directly to pdf
- export to pdf
export to pdf open the following dialog with all the options (included one option for pdf annotations.
As there are a LOT of options with the export to pdf command, I would like to see the dialog available within cool. This will give a huge number of options and improve the export to pdf command which now download only the file as pdf, a lot.
What's the reason the dialog isn't available within cool @pedropintosilva ?
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It is, so I'm not sure if it's entirely a bug or just a bug combined with a missing feature. I noticed today that I can't export a document in the Android App as PDF without also exporting the comments on the document. Also, when trying to do so by printing the document as PDF the comment icons still appear, of course not containing any comments. So while this is probably a bug and I can see the desire to export documents with their comments, there should also be an option to exclude them.
Describe the solution you'd like A dialog in save as... that allows for stripping the document of its comments. Mainly for PDF export, but might be useful for any format.
Describe alternatives you've considered While MS' Office apps can convert their own formats to PDF, you are forced to give it permission to do so on their servers, so that's obviously not an option. And I don't see any other apps editing office files and save them as PDF while keeping the layout intact.
