Android: Can't Rename Files #7639

Is your feature request related to a problem?

On Android, it seems like you cannot change the name of your document after initial creation.

Describe the solution you'd like

Being able to rename a file using the:

A. Main menu

Press three-dots > Rename.

B. In Document

Press hamburger menu
- File > Rename
- (or File > Save As)

I expected File > Rename to at least exist, similar to the Desktop.

Describe alternatives you've considered

You can:

Rename the documents in a file manager
OR Hamburger menu > Export As

then reopen them in Collabora Office, but that is very clunky.
