[Known Issue] Honkai: Star Rail Failing to Start After Update | Also Error on Cache/Repair

Bug Behavior

Due to changes in HSR's pre-launch checks, they now will fail to launch when the config.ini file inside the game installation folder is set incorrectly.

Current workaround is to edit the config.ini file manually.

Here are the default IDs for each region:

Global

• channel=1
• sub_channel=1

  Mainland China

• channel=1
• sub_channel=1

  Bilibili

• channel=14
• sub_channel=0
• cps=bilibili
