Instead of using google-analytics-id to generate the tracking snippet, the docs should just tell people to copy the code provided by their analytics into "_includes/head/analytics.html". With the need for "accept" tracking banners, more people will need to use a custom snippet rather than our pre-made version.
Google custom search using google-cse-id seems rarely used. Google search seems increasingly not great, and custom search engine a sort of ignored/forgotten product. Remove google-cse-id, "pages/google-search.md", and link from "search.md". We could add an article about how to add it if anyone is interested.
