This article was a pretty interesting read and made me think of possible future technologies to use for collaboration. Using VR, in this case, for a cultural heritage site showed that it's participants "experienced relevant increase in their interest in the temple and in the recognition of the importance of conserving it". The study shed's light on how to use VR in creating awareness, and possibly how it could create awareness in the culture of different members in a virtual team. Though the study did not particularly talk about this (awareness of cultural teams with VR), the use of VR could improve awareness of other team members culture, or places they go on the weekend. Imagine being able to wear a VR set with virtual team members and show them where you went during the weekend. This could help build relationships and improve team trust, since it build's on the dimensions of affective trust.
