is this EFI suitable with thinkpad T14 gen 2 AMD ? #1

CPU : Ryzen 7 pro 5850U iGPU : Vega 8 Wifi : intel 6 AX200 Touch screen

Well, you can try it, I can't fully confirm that it will work since i don't have the hardware nor do I know the full spec sheet, but what I can tell you is that 1, your WiFi and BT will work and your igpu should work with the help of nootedred, but you would need to look more into it, try it, and if it works, then you are good, no clue if the fan control will work though but I could help you with it. But keep in mind to follow the GitHub page closely, as I haven't updated some kexts, some things may be out of date, especially regarding airport itwlm, considering that not all of these kexts work for all macOS versions, you would need to adjust as needed, everything i have is setup for macOS Sonoma, therefore you may have crashing if you just download the EFI

Hello,

Just chiming in, your efi does work mostly for the t14s gen 2 amd. It would stand to reason it'd work to some degree with the t14 gen 2. As you've said though, Bluetooth didn't work until I remapped usb.

Colin, I know the t14s isn't your device,but I have two questions for insight:

  1. My integrated camera still won't function, did you need to do anything in particular to get it to work? Mac OS sees mine, and will attempt to turn on (the light comes on) but just a black screen.

  2. On FaceTime, have you been able to see incoming video from the other person? From my research, it looks like Nootedred isn't capable of h.264 encoding yet, which I assume affects this, just wanted to confirm on another device.

Hi Collin, I succeeded to do Hackintosh with your EFI on Ventura. I will try on Sonoma later. As u told me before. I opened AMD power Gadget. SMC Fans shows nothing , temperature is around 60c Pls help me on it and I hit same issue with mugenmind : integrated CAM not work
