Applescript editor launches when launching logKextClient #5

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launch logkext client from a local terminal or remote SSH session

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that there should be no GUI application launched. Instead a
script editor tool launches and is shown as a separate application.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OS 10.5.1
LogKExt v2.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Weird, that shouldn't be happening. The Script Editor opens? Like the
Applescript Editor? When you run
"logKextClient"?

That's correct.... It'll be a few days before I can re-test it though. I know
a
couple updates came down from apple since my last try, so I'll retest before
you do
too much work. :-)

Wait, is the Applescript Editor opening when you type the "open" command in
logKextClient? That command
opens a GUI application to read the logfile. If you don't want to use a GUI
application, you should use the "print"
command.
