Small R2 Values #16

It seems that a large amount of the variability in the model is unaccounted for as indicated by small R2 values. It would be preferable to reduce this variability, or at least verify that the variability isn't caused by errors in calculation.

When I knit the main Rmd file in either master or the by_month branches, I get an error:

Quitting from lines 137-220 (DayNightQ10.Rmd) 
Error: Column `Q10` must be length 1 (a summary value), not 3
In addition: There were 18 warnings (use warnings() to see them)
Execution halted

Any thoughts Colin? You don't get this?
