Maps game controller physical buttonsto virtual outputs that can be tuned for an optimal in-sim experience. Outputs can be virtual axes, or vitual buttons. A typical use would be mapping your Sptifire Mk IX elevator trim wheel to a single virutal axis that you use in sim. What's more, you can tune the sensitivity of the axis to aproximate the correct turn rate of the trim wheel in sim.
Found this project while looking for a solution to use my Razer Huntsman volume knob as a trim wheel. Seems to be exactly what I need. Considering how many keyboards have these, and many of them configurable, it would be nice if we could set it up.
I can bind the knobs up and down inputs to any key on the keyboard, like Num 7 and Num 1
It would be great if I could set it up these as inputs, basically turning it into a digital trim since this is exactly how they work
Because Razer doesn't provide an actual gamepad HID interface, it can only bind to keyboard keys
