Sample Request

Epic Spec:

Introduction The sample request feature enables a user to request a sample to be sent directly from the supplier.

This is for buyers who require samples before committing to buying.

What problem is this feature request related to? I want help with decision making when considering starting a new relationship with a supplier. Trying a sample is one of the ways in which I can do this, but ordinarily, this process takes time and requires a supplier meeting.

The solution A button on each supplier profile that when selected sends a request to a supplier for a sample of a particular product.

Product Requirements

  1. The button should be a clear visual call to action.

  2. Once the button is selected the buyer fills in a form describing which product they would like to sample.

  3. The supplier should receive a sample request form pre-populated with the details of the buyer plus sample request description.

  4. Once a request is sent, the request should be added to a list on the user dashboard.

Design Requirements To be discussed & wireframed - potentially limited to the design features of WP plugins.

Engineer Requirements For Paul Triggs to complete

Database considerations? Plugin considerations? External development requirements? Anticipated timeline? Technical Debt?

EXternal development good to go - all PIA's driven by the same form component.
