[Bug]: LONG delay when launching the UI - get a warning about too many thumbnails? #534

Frontend Version

1.2.28

Expected Behavior

Nigh-instant startup of UI after clicking the URL from the console after comfy launch.

Actual Behavior

I see a spinning wheel for quite a long time. Feels like > 1 minute? Then I get a quick message on top that does not appear in my logs, saying something to the effect of "too many thumbnails, timed out". I have no idea which thumbnails are being referred to.

Steps to Reproduce

I launch comfy normally. When the console indicates that I can use the app, I click http://127.0.0.1:8188 and my browser opens a tab for Comfy. A wheel then spins and spins as described above until the thumbnail message appears.

This is very likely caused by custom nodes. Can you confirm the issue is not there when you disable all custom nodes and use ComfyCLI's bisect feature to locate the culprit custom node? https://github.com/Comfy-Org/comfy-cli#bisect-custom-nodes
