Some folks out there would love to use our platform with other hardware/platforms (e.g. Photon) which we do not currently support...
I believe the main attraction (to Particle) is the ease of setup, support...
Until we make our own modules and such, integrating our database features and control functions with Particle cloud &/or devices could be a nice way to get more folks to use our thing!
