does what it says on the tin - will require some input rate tuning but really just need to set the "maximum" response experience for these kinds of inputs -- let the governing principle be that the user sets their deadzone/curve/y-saturation as needed their device.

thanks @gcask for submitting a PR prompt for this. i've added a slightly more responsive version in https://github.com/heclak/community-a4e-c/commit/2dd22997d46cde6386cf2a3ba38ea25d6d29eb42 - apologies for shitty commit name, my bad. i blame the whisky.

I also added gcask to the contributors in the readme, and on discord.
