I downloaded the A-4 for the first time (V2.2), following the installation guide on the web: User/saved games/DCS/mods/aircraft. Everything seemed fine with the latest DCS update as of 11/08/2024.
However, when I start a mission in the Caucasus area, the screen flickers, and none of the menu screens are displayed correctly. This issue persists with the A-4, preventing me from loading missiles and bombs due to the non-displaying menu screen.
I tried switching to other aircraft, like the F-16 and F-18, in the same mission, but the problem remained. (I never had issues before installing the A-4). I then manually uninstalled the A-4, and the problem was fixed for other aircraft.
I decided to try a different mod, the C-130, and it worked fine. I also confirmed that C++ is installed, as suggested in the A-4 guide.
When I try to use the A-4 again, it flies beautifully, but I still can't see any of the menus needed for the mission or to quit the game.
I've attached a few screenshots of what I'm experiencing.
