Hello minesworld, thank you for opening an issue with us!
I have automatically added a "needs triage" label to help get things started. Our team will analyze and investigate the issue, and escalate it to the relevant team if possible. Other community members may also look into the issue and provide feedback 🙌
Two " load thoughts":
Maybe the members of the Community Toolkit have a "shorter way" to the responsible people at Microsoft. Its a SHAME that THIS is "under consideration" https://portal.productboard.com/winappsdk/1-windows-app-sdk/c/31-inking-controls
WTF??
Now some rant (don't care about political correctnes): I bet MS is wondering why those Forms & WPF apps still don't use WinUI. Maybe they should have first targeted the UWP guys. Those were those who took the chance to make some money on the Microsoft Store AND distribute NEW KINDS of Apps using PEN input - but "payed" for that not having the full Desktop API and (even more important for me) C# & .Net language features...
With the Windows App SDK we have now that with a usable GUI instead of that Forms/WPF F*** - but NO INK! So NO new Kinds of Apps possible without doing Microsoft work...
Thats quite a recipe for success...
PS: the first Surface Studio presentation was THE reason for me after 25 years of being a "Die hard" Mac-Fanboy to buy a Surface Pro to test (!!) Windows. Now you will get my beloved Surface Studio 2 only from my cold hands... BEST computer EVER. And I had "a few" - "Hell froze over" for me: don't need Mac anymore as the Studio IS the iMac Apple never wanted to sell me.
PPS: I'm currently developing such a kind of new App. "Made for Surface"...

Describe the bug
As the scrollbars visibility is set to "Auto" they might be visible for those use who told Windows via its Preferences to do so.
In that case the thumbs are always shown left and top - even after scrolling...
This is plain wrong. Either hide it by
<ScrollViewer x:Name="InfiniteCanvasScrollViewer" Grid.Row="1" HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Hidden" HorizontalScrollMode="Enabled" VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Hidden" VerticalScrollMode="Enabled" ZoomMode="Enabled">
or rework the infinite scrolling logic so that after a scroll by using a scrollbar the thumbs are always repositioned in the middle.
