More git history surgery #51

I also tried to remove the deepsource commit but not the bot's commits. I think this will need to be merged by a rebase in order for the history edits to take affect?

I think this is in an okay state now. I really dislike git history surgery as I am very much blind when doing it, not sure why tests are broken, they work locally. Perhaps an issue with torch 1.12 release and unpinned deps

made this default branch for the time being to all lloc plot to be checked.

force pushed branch to main after creating backup-2, tests passed locally.
