Recently, I have been attempting to restore a purely black and white ancient Chinese portrait to a real human photo. In reality, this black and white image is a photograph of a figurative stone tablet.
I've tried various stable diffusion plugins for restoration, but the results have been unsatisfactory. For instance, using a model named "beautiful realistic V6", with controlNet lineart+canny, based on txt2img or img2img to restore the figure resulted in a chaotic image after restoration.
I understand that stable diffusion may not effectively recognize the content in black and white. I seek advice from experts – are there any solutions I could try? or Is there a community for exchanging experiences in using stable diffusion?
