HR Sensor don't record nothing until the gps start recording? #471

Please describe what your requested feature would do, how it would work,
etc:

I want to record HR sensor or at least see it working even when the track is 
not recording. If i go to sensor state while NOT recording, i don't see 
nothing, if so, how can i see my initial HR or at least how could i see if the 
sensor is working and ok?
