Outrageous distances/speeds #507

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Engage MyTracks
2. Ride bike to Manchester (0r back; that was even better)
3. Upload map to Google Maps for all to enjoy!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

14+/- miles expected bike ride; 139.6 miles reported for one, 598.8 miles for
the other (see referenced maps)

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone? MyTracks 1.1.7; Android 2.3.3; Motorola DroidX

If possible please provide a log. Either upload here or send to mytracks-
support@google.com.

I also downloaded "GPS Test" and will reboot the phone before the next ride.
GPS test shows 6-9 satellites visible indoors.

My Tracks version 1.1.6 worked fine until "recently". No change to phone at
the time it started acting flakey - My Tracks 1.1.6, no apps added within
several weeks, and no other GPS-location dependent apps in use at the time
(that I know of - don't know what is started automatically.)

Updated to 1.1.7 after an outrageous track was recorded

hour, with errors sprinkled through them, and I was _way_ too late to capture
any log info, so no log attached.
