Heart-rate data stops recording while recording some tracks #518

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unknown; initially thought it was due to getting an email and/or a phone
call. Today's incident I had mobile network off (so no email) and I did not
receive a call during the route time.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see continual recording of heart-rate data, regardless of
incoming event.

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
I am using version 1.1.7 of MyTracks, 2.2 of Android on an HTC Incredible (the
original Incredible on Verizon).

If possible please provide a log. Either upload here or send to mytracks-
support@google.com.
Detailed instructions can be found here:
http://code.google.com/p/mytracks/wiki/HowToReportErrors

I have attached a log from my device (using LogCollector). Unfortunately, this
log was generated just after my ride which was way beyond when the heart-rate
data dropped).

I have also attached the TCX file for your review. The last HR reading is at
line 9708.

Please provide any additional information here:
I've had this problem occur a handful of times. On shorter rides I'll typically
leave my mobile network connection on. On longer rides, it's off (as was the
case for this ride).

I have ensured that the HR monitor (a Zephyr Bluetooth HxM) is reporting via
the 'Sensor' option in MyTracks; specifically, when I find that the HR is no
longer being recorded at the end of a ride, I check whether it is connected and
reporting. I've only thought of checking this during the last few occurances of
this behavior.

I have also gone through various trouble-shooting steps as identified here:
http://www.zephyr-technology.com/android-hxm-tips and through various threads
in the MyTracks groups.

Last, I have had multiple instances of everything working as expected. Thus,
the problem is likely due to some interruption in the connection and is never
reconnected until manually starting a new track.

After further testing, I want to withdraw this issue. I've observed this same
behavior using a different tracking application. Either I've got a defective
Zephyr HxM unit or there something else interrupting the connection between it
and my smartphone.

Thank you anyway.
