"A pop up which loads when you land on a opportunity page order view , this pop up would be linked to a custom field so you could set yourself reminders next time you work on a opportunity."

A basic version of this, where an alert box pops up in Order View based on a custom field, is available in the project root folder. To use it, paste that block of code to the bottom of your content.js folder and tweak as required.
