I have a few questions relating to different languages.
What do high-resource and low-resource languages mean? (page 8 of the reading) Is it classified by number of people speaking the language, or amount of content available, or amount of research done on them, or the computational methods that are applicable to them?
For those languages that are currently low-resource languages, is there anything that researchers can do to improve their ability in studying them, or is it currently possible to analyze them with computational methods at all? For example, Japanese?
