Pitch Texts/Context and Group #33

Dear Bhargav,

Can you elaborate a little more on what is expected for the pitch text/context assignment due tomorrow? The instructions only instruct that we have to make a group on canvas and give the URL for github repository, but I am guessing from the title that we will have to explain your project/data too. Should we initialize a readme explaining the project on the repos? If so, how substantively should we explain our projects?

Also, if we are expected to upload our data: I am still in data collecting process (with Prof. Evans) for my project - can I just explain the data without uploading it in the repo?

Many thanks always! Nak Won

Hey @nwrim , sorry for totally missing this... to be honest I am not in charge of this particular assignment: I am pinging @HyunkuKwon to see if he might know. What you said sounds about right though, and it is ok on the data if it takes time to collect, a description would suffice!

Hi @nwrim,

I'm sorry about the late reply. All you have to do is to just explain your project and text data briefly. No need to initialize a readme. You can make a group on canvas, but it's totally up to you.

Also, if you're still collecting the data now, you can just explain the data without uploading it to your Github!

Thanks @bhargavvader @HyunkuKwon! Don't be sorry about the late replies - I should have tagged you guys! Thanks again.

Hey @HyunkuKwon - sorry I'm just seeing this. The Pitch Text/Groups assignment sounds similar to what we submitted at the beginning of hw5. Would you still like this submitted separately? Let me know if I'm misunderstanding!
