Once cufinufft 1.3 is published, I plan to bring it in along with the other packaging changes towards python 3.11 in #955 .
This will greatly simplify the envs on caf and decaf since they will be able to use straight pip again instead of a custom compiled library/installation.
This should also allow the gpu extensions to generally work out of the box again (yay! 🎉 ).
