options now as discussed in #15
cosmetic stuff (print human readable name for modes etc.) should be done in another issue, this one is only about introducing program options

I just ran this new version on hypnos. Both parallelMode=threaded and parallelMode=mpi seemed to work nicely for 2 timeslices (did not test everything, since the MATLAB interface will obviously not be changed during the timeslices) :turtle:
