Since there will be a publication soon referencing this code, a DOI would be needed soon.

@sbastrakov What is the status of publishing this code? Publication of a paper that should cite this is planned to be soon (within a few days).

Not in any normal way. Perhaps as HZDR-internal record only but I don't remember
