Release "stable" builds more frequently #1118

OS version: Win7 SP1 x64 ConEmu version: N/A

Please release more stable versions that can be submitted to Symantec for whitelisting. I've been able to convince the company I work for to allow our dev team to use this tool and it's been great. However, any time we have a new employee install it or go to update it to get some newer bits, it triggers Symantec and logs the issue. Of course folks get scared about the warning as our company has a strict reload policy whenever AV is tripped.

Is it due strictly to the naming of the installer? If this is the case, can you stop naming it with the build number?

Name of installer doses not matter if it differs from whitelisted binary. I hope new preview build will be released soon and it well be submitted to Symantec

Was the current Preview added to the whitelist? It also triggered a false-positive. Personally, I'd prefer if my company got rid of Symantec's solution, but that'll never happen...

OK, current Preview was sent to Symantec. They will take decision in ... (up to three weeks).

Symantec has decided not to add this software to its white-list at this time. Please note that this decision does not mean that Symantec products will necessarily detect your software in the future. It simply means that Symantec could not conclude from its analysis at this time that your software should be included in its white-list. Symantec does not disclose or discuss its decision or analysis; however, in the event Symantec products detect your software at any point and you believe the detection to be a false positive, you may notify us through Symantec's on-line Security Risk/False Positive Dispute Submission form available at: https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/
