Display large image popup in the centre of the window #8

At the moment the image pops up in the middle of the photo wall, which may be larger than the visible viewport, and hence the image may not even be on screen.

This is done, but some tidying up of the pop-up interactivity is still needed. I'd like to try it with a modal dialog.
