tDAR site vs project location #37

Just created new project for my PhD research which includes sites in Sydney and
London. Bit of a challenge for location map! Need to come back to this issue
once new version of tDAR is loaded. Need some kind of facility to store
multiple locations for each project, or link locations to sites not projects.

Multiple sites are supported by tdar now, but i'm not sure the functionality is
exactly what you wanted... Sites are a list of controlled keywords, rather than
a separate object within the project. They can be reused to link projects
together, of course, but do not offer distinct separation between sites.

Alternatively, a project can be made part of a collection. Thoughts?

Is that in a newer version of tDAR or the one we're working from? The
collection can be used to group sites (I think I've started doing that), but
it's a little back to front, and it doesn't solve the problem of mapping.
Fundamentally, the map should be attached to the physical entity (the site)
rather than the activity (the project). Is there any option for recording
multiple sets of coordinates per project?

I don't believe so... at least not yet. I'll suggest it to Adam for you.

Pushed this to dev.tdar.org as a new feature request.
